For real, this sitter stage is one of my very favorites! I miss the days when I could put my little baby on a blanket with some toys and they’d sit and explore with their hands and put every little thing in their mouth. Before mobility got them excited about bigger and better things and moving all over the house.  These milestone sessions are always some of the sweetest as you catch all of those little sides of their personality before they can run away. Not too long after this session, Lincoln was crawling all over and then suddenly walking!

This was Lincoln’s second session in the studio with me! Of course, I get to watch him grow anyway as he’s my nephew but it’s a special thing to have him in front of my camera.

I love styling these sessions to be classic and timeless. When your little one is a brother, baby #2 can have a matching session and still be in style!  The studio has a good selection of wardrobe options for boys and girls in muted and neutral colors. Including special props like Lincoln’s favorite little elephant lovey make these pictures even more special.
