I feel so blessed to have held and snuggled each and every one of these sweet little newborn babies in their first days of life. I absolutely love my job as a newborn photographer in Northern Colorado and love working with new moms and dads as they settle into parenthood or adjust to life with a second child in their homes and in their hearts. The stage of life where we get to experience pregnancy, birth and babies is so short! My youngest is now 2.5 and our family is complete, but my love for that period of life is still so strong and I am passionate about serving other moms in the thick of it. It’s a complete joy and honor to be trusted to care for you infant and capture those precious memories of this fleeting time for you. Thank you for putting your babies in my arms <3

There is something sort of magical about looking back at a years worth of work and experiences and seeing the growth and the change. It was a big year for Dear Kate Studios. I was lucky enough to photograph babies from Loveland, Fort Collins, Westminster, Eaton, Greeley, Wellington and more. I got to watch babies grow from one milestone session to the next and through their parent’s instagram and facebook accounts. I welcomed 2 new neices and new nephew into the studio. Celebrated first birthdays, family reunions and documented families as they grew. Dear Kate Studios physically grew too! In October, I moved from my 200sq ft studio space to 1000 sq ft! I love being able to welcome families in to play and get comfortable while I work with their baby. I’ve got snacks, coffee, a changing table and everything you could need for your newborn session! If you haven’t been in yet, I can’t wait for you to see it!! I’m still putting the finishing touches on decor but will write a blog post with lots of pictures once it’s ready! With the new studio I am so happy to be able to offer you more and I can’t wait to share all of the things I’ve been working on for 2017.
