With each and every newborn photo session I do I fall more and more in love with my job. Part of it is that my own babies are not such babies anymore, so snuggly a brand new baby just a few days old bring me back to the days of doing that mom sway with my own kiddos. Part of it is also hanging out with new moms and hearing about their birth stories and watching them as they navigate this transition into parenting this new little being that suddenly appeared in their home.  (I know there’s a 9 month warning but still! It’s always a shock 😉 ) 

Grayson was totally wide awake at the start of his session so we started out with pictures with mom and dad, took a little break for him to eat a bit more and then back into daddy’s hands for one of my favorite awake newborn pictures ever! Isn’t he darling??? After that Grayson was a rockstar and took a nice long nap for us 🙂
