The weather in Colorado can be so very unpredictable! We had Hadyn’s 2 year old portraits scheduled for the middle of March, a bit closer to her birthday but the weather was just not the best and spring really hadn’t sprung! So we tried again in April. The forecast called for rain after 8pm so we thought we were in the clear! Green grass was growing, trees were sprouting new leaves and it was just all around beautiful! As soon as we arrived though, the ominous grey clouds broke open and a sudden rain started to pour down on us! After a few minutes of playing peek a boo through car windows, the sun came out! Grey skies parted, making way for a gorgeous spring evening perfect for marking Hadyn’s 2nd year! 

I love how every pictures shows a little bit more of her sweet and sassy 2 year old personality! At this age, children are so fun and curious! She climbed rocks, picked flowers, and ran down a dirt path (just a little too far!). It was such a fun session and I’m sure her mom and dad will cherish the milestone these photos mark as she grows older and her personality develops and changes more.
