Things around our house are changing quickly as we await the arrival of our second child. We’re updating Harper’s room to be the perfect place for a big sister, getting out all of the old baby gear and filling in the gaps of things we need, and of course decorating the nursery! We’ve decided on a super hero theme for our little guy, and thanks to some great ideas from Pinterest, it’s starting to come together. If you want a peek at our inspiration, here’s the pinboard. I’ll be sharing bits and pieces as they fall into place and things are completed.
One of my favorite projects so far has been creating these fun prints for wall art. They were of course inspired by classic comic books and pop art. The walls of the room are grey and we have yellow accents in the bedding. The crib and dresser are both black and being recycled from Harper’s room so come with built-in bite marks.
If you’d like to print these for the little guy in your life, here is a link to the downloadable file.
I’m also very excited to share out maternity photos with you! We met with Nicole Johnson of Colie James Photography in Longmont a couple of weeks ago for our session. She was fantastic to work with and it was such a fun experience to be on the other side of the camera. I love images that came out of the session and how they capture what our family is like right now as we prepare for baby boy. Here are a couple of my favorites, and you can view more at her blog.
